Sooo... First of all. I always wanted to paint something like that. I mean, something bigger, and more complex then usual portraits. But I always lacked in skill. In color choosing. In creating shadows. In everything.
I always wanted to be able to pain something like this, eversince I saw ~azhrarn gallery (and decided to buy a tablet, heh). Hah, ~azhrarn was always a big inspiration for me. And finally I was able to try paint this inspiration.
I really can't tell how much I spend on this picture. 60 hours? More? I remember I sketched that when I was sick, and listening to newly gotten Coll:set of D'espairs Ray (and I was obsessive about that album that time pretty much), so I guess inspiration credit goes to Despa too.
But. It took me ages mostly because of my computer. When I was in halfway, the file had over 70mb and in time when it was loading/saving I could go make myself a tea, and drink it
Conclusions:
I - I need better computer x.x 256 RAM is not enough.
II - I still lack in all skills needed to paint something like this, and kinda feel that I lost potencial of that sketch during coloring.

But it doesn't change that I'm still damn proud about this one, and happy I finished it.


PS. And once again I had hella problem with categorising it ==;; so I just stuck to ~AnaisM choice Macabre&Horror - Paintings suggesting the horror of death and decay instilling a feeling of intense, painful feeling of repugnance and fear.
